COLIN

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

The Colinator is a big sports fan, especially football and baseball. He is also a big fan of ‘b’ horror movies, the lower the budget the better! When Colin is not busy working with the environment, he enjoys taking long walks on the beach.

What do you enjoy the most about working on obviously.ca?

I like very much helping spread environmental awareness through my favorite media form – the interweb!

What’s your 1 thing?

I also bring my lunch in plastic containers to work because a) I’m cheap, and b) I want to reduce the amount of packaging I send to the landfills and I never wash my fork to save on water.

KAYLEY

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I am a recent graduate of the University of Toronto, where I studied Political Science, English and Philosophy, and I am embarking on my first “real” job as an intern at the Ministry of the Environment. I love country music and writing and I detest people who walk slowly in front of me when I’m in a hurry and beans.

What do you enjoy the most about working on obviously.ca?

The people are great and the fact that we are educating and inspiring others to make a difference for the environment is an essential added bonus!

What’s your 1 thing?

I always turn off the lights when I leave a room.

NEHAL

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Third culture kid, downtownist with a sense of humour and two cats. Likes: the written word, reality tv, city vibes, rooftops, good coffee, good music, and good conversations. Dislikes: zucchini and early mornings – especially when they occur together.

What do you enjoy the most about working on obviously.ca?

That it doesn’t really feel like work; I’m lucky enough to be doing something I enjoy that not only interests me, but that racks up my karmic brownie points. Sweet.

What’s your 1 thing?

I buy local whenever possible.

JESSICA

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I’m madly in love with my PVR; I’ve set it to record an obscene number of shows in the year and a half that we’ve been together, and it hasn’t let me down once. I’ll eat any food with melted cheese on it. I prefer dental tape over dental floss, and spearmint-flavoured mouthwash over peppermint. I once saw a one-legged pigeon hopping along the sidewalk (don’t be sad, he seemed totally fine with it). I don’t really care about Britney, Paris or Nicole, but I’m totally rooting for Lindsay to clean up and turn her life around – when she was 12 she played twins in The Parent Trap and one of them had a British accent! That’s talent, my friends!

What do you enjoy the most about working on obviously.ca?

Definitely the fame.

What’s your 1 thing?

My toaster, microwave, lamps, fans, laptop, phone charger, TV, DVD player and hair iron are only plugged in when I’m actually using them.
